Corrosion Protection Example

The Zorro 2 Streetlight is a very popular light that we have deployed across multiple environments over the past 12 years. It has a C4 corrosion rating and is protected with a multi-stage coating process. The first stage is electrophoretic coating. This treatment involves immersing the metal parts in a liquid solution and using an electric charge to apply a smooth, even layer of protective material. This coating reaches into small gaps and edges, creating a strong barrier against moisture and harsh weather. After curing, the finish is durable and long-lasting. The second stage is applying the final coat via powder coating.
